Special Guest Speakers: Professor Dr. Lawrence Hart, McMaster University; Professor Dr. Sean Egan, University of Toronto; Orna Hollander, Executive Director of The Canadian Centre for Israel Activism.
As Israel fights against terrorism, plans are being made for an even more vicious Israel Apartheid Week campaign on Canadian university campuses. The hate-filled messages and toxic environment are particularly threatening to Jewish students, but the atmosphere of bigotry on campus is detrimental to all students and faculty.
Dr. Lawrence Hart, Associate Professor of Medicine at McMaster University, was one of the most outspoken defenders of the principled stand taken by that administration to curtail activities last year.
Dr. Sean Egan, Associate Professor of Medicine at University of Toronto, has been instrumental in the faculty's objections at University of Toronto, where this dangerous phenomenon began in 2001.
Orna Hollander, Executive Director of The Canadian Centre for Israel Activism will address the significant problems on the York University campus.
